Emergency cases (severe pain, injuries, bleeding) are treated at dental emergency clinics. Free emergency treatment is available only at public hospitals, but a statutory fee of 90 Kč must be paid. 

All dentists in the Czech Republic, with the exception of those at public hospitals, are private practitioners. You will pay for treatment at any dentist’s office. Treatment will be cheaper at a dentist who has lower overall prices. The 150 Kč contribution per injection from the insurance company is economically insignificant when price differences among dentists run into the thousands of crowns. Most dentists who have contracts with insurance companies charge significantly higher prices. This is because they know the “magical” effect it has on clients—we have contracts with insurance companies. A dentist’s contract with an insurance company is a psychological trick, and most patients aren’t aware of it. Our dental clinic has a clear online price list that allows you to compare prices with the competition. We keep our prices as low as possible to remain competitive. No “starting at…” price lists—just fixed, transparent prices.

We’re available every day from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. We provide treatment without an emergency surcharge during regular office hours, Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. On weekends and holidays, we charge an emergency surcharge of 1,000 CZK. Our emergency hotline is available until 8:00 PM. We guarantee the shortest wait times in all of Prague. We can treat emergency cases within an hour of your call, depending on the number of emergency patients. Registered patients are given priority. We also accept non-registered patients and foreign nationals without the need for registration.

We have modern equipment and use the gentlest methods possible to preserve as many teeth as possible. We have our own surgical department, allowing us to handle even the most complicated cases.

Do you have a toothache?

Pulpitis
Severe pain that worsens at night. The tooth reacts to thermal stimuli, acidic and sweet foods, and is painful when tapped.
The most common cause of this pain is inflammation of the dental nerve—pulpitis. Treatment involves removing the nerve and cleaning the tooth’s root canals (root canal therapy). The last resort is tooth extraction.

A decayed or fractured tooth
A decayed tooth is a source of chronic infection and no longer serves its chewing function. In most cases, extraction is recommended.
